To be honest I am unsure were in anatolia this rug was woven. South west in the Menderez valley seems to be a possibility.125 x 102cm. There are some areas of repiling in the field. The colours are beautiful.

A wonderful tibetan square. 19th century. Organic dyes in good condition. All wool construction. Soft wool and mellow colour combinations. Note the elegant corner solutions to the greek key border. 57 x 54cm

Wonderful bold design , uncluttered field design and rich dye saturation mark this example out from the many rugs woven in and around the Fars district of southern persia in the last quarter of the 19th century and into the early part of the 20th.
Good conditon ,no repairs or reweaves. 320 x 220cm.
